2024 Impact Report

Built on Resilience, Driven by Purpose

Resilience. It’s a word we use regularly when talking to our clients. And it’s a cornerstone of supply chain when the only constant is change. But we also realize that resilience is just as important internally for our team and to our charity partners.

 

Looking back on 2024, we witnessed a “super election year” with over 70 countries holding elections of vital importance, escalating tensions in the Middle East, no resolution to the Ukraine-Russia war, devastating natural disasters, and the hottest year on record. But we also marveled at what AI could do, saw new “firsts” for space, were awed by medical breakthroughs, and millions gazed at the miraculous Northern Lights for the first time.

 

Internally, our team showed up for each other during illness and loss. We celebrated birthdays and milestones and tiny new additions to the Vector family. And we reassured each other on the hard days. But no matter what the day threw at us, we did the work and lived out our values: a results-based culture, being passionate about people, and Logistics With Purpose®.

 

As for our charity partners, they cared for children with no where else to turn. They comforted the aging. They used soccer to spread awareness about homelessness. They provided essentials during war or after disasters. And through volunteering or donations, our team supported their great work because the missions matter.

 

Resilience is a cornerstone of humanity. And it’s on each and every page of this report.

The Power of Partnership

Besides resilience, another saying you’ll often hear us use is, “We don’t want to be your logistics provider. We want to be your logistics partner.” That isn’t just a nice turn of phrase—it’s our lived experience of how good business gets done.

 

Partnerships are long-term, and built on trust. They are mutually beneficially and based on a shared understanding and respect. This report is the story of many partnerships in action, working toward a better world.

 

Just like all the links in the supply chain, the process only works when all pieces work together. So, we can’t thank all our partners enough. To our clients, our agents, our charity friends, and of course, our amazing team: You embody the best of our industry. Giving back is very important to me. Children are the future—especially when supported through education and efforts to protect our planet. That’s why I care deeply about causes like education, climate action, and children’s well-being.

I believe Vector should always stay committed to supporting these areas. I’m particularly passionate about helping children’s shelters and special needs institutions, like those in northern Chile. These children inspire us to continue making a meaningful difference.

Vector’s global giving is very important to me. While many causes matter, I believe food, housing, and medical care are the most basic human needs—no one should have to go without them.

Sometimes it’s hard to support all the causes we care about due to time or resource constraints, but through logistics, we have a unique opportunity to continue making a difference. I believe that if we have the means, we should always strive to help those in need, and I’m proud that Vector creates space for that.
