Logistics are another vehicle for changing the world.

– Enrique Alvarez

Almost everything you touch on a daily basis came from somewhere else. From the soap in your bathroom to the food in your refrigerator to the device in your pocket, in one way or another, most products are manufactured, packaged, shipped, and stored in another location. For that reason, we believe that working within the supply chain is a very simple and practical way to affect change.

We leverage logistics to make a positive impact on the global community through the Vector Giving Foundation. Supported by our company, as well as like-minded partners, clients, and other generous individuals, together we are building a better future than our present.

Changing the World Together

Changing the World for me means helping others such as: feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, lifting up the hopeless, clothing the naked, healing the sick and supporting any person/family that is struggling at the moment. The World needs more people who are kind, caring, generous, loving, selfless, expecting nothing in return and willing to make a positive impact on everyone and anyone.

Our goal is to give back to the community through globalization, whether donating meals in Africa or helping children with cancer in Mexico, we love supporting many organizations who help others and we love to get involved as well.

Our culture at VGL fosters a spirit of giving back so we are always aware of individuals and companies in need of assistance. This ties into my life philosophy of always helping when I can. Being immersed in this type of caring attitude at work everyday gives me great motivation to continue to help where and when I can.

This unique culture has helped me to be a better person, to be responsible and aware of my actions, that if I do something or if I do not do something affects everyone else at the company, to help each other and always look for a solution for what it comes.

The company is helping me through its orientation to low environmental impact on the world, always keeping the professional standards high, and its multicultural work environment which implicitly lead to pay attention to the needs of all type of populations and countries; bonded together as a family we try to reach the goals in the smoothest, most professional and environmental-friendly way possible. The change starts from us.

For me Vector is an opportunity to be in touch with a different types of people and teach them, helping them grow, to learn everyday something new, and by doing that helping our clients & vendors and of course everyone at Vector.

Through Vector we have helped people in need over the world and one of the best experiences I have had is being part of the non-profit organization's shipments and projects which help many communities around the world. We have a lot of projects to keep making a positive impact in the world and I am confident we will achieve it through our culture and a great team.

Working in Vector has expanded my vision on how to change the world mainly for it's unique culture that is expanded in every single thing we do. I always keep in mind that if we work harder, our clients will be happier and the company will keep growing and so, we will be able to have a bigger impact in the world supporting social programs, foundations, meals donations, medical supply donations. This makes me feel passionate and motivated all the time and even more when everyone in the company shares the same values and we are always supporting each other.

Vector is helping me change the world by helping others. Getting them things they need.

Also, by giving me a bigger perspective of what is going on in the world and what can I do to help.

Vector is one of those companies that not only cares about their employees but also about the world; always supporting the needed, sharing joy and looking for the way to be helpful with the current problems. That's only a result of Vector's culture and values.

And I think is great that Enrique always encourage us to be better humans with his example of changing the world.

December 2019

Name: Party Container to Ghana

A few companies got together and donated some goodies for kids in Ghana. On the morning that the container arrived for loading all of the ATL team met at the warehouse to volunteer for a few hours and help pack and sort the books. We then witnessed the container being loaded and it being driven away on route to Savannah.

– VGL supported one of our own in Matilda as well as brightening the day of so many children in Ghana who were ecstatic to receive a book of their very own, sometimes for the first time ever!!

– We supported one of our best customers, Books for Africa, by transporting their books for free because they loaded 11 pallets of books for their own customers in Ghana, alongside the pallets that they donated for the party.

– It was a great bonding experience for the ATL team and reinforced what we are all about as a company.

The container arrived at the final destination, the party venue, on the morning of the party, exactly as scheduled!

To achieve this feat when shipping to Africa is proof positive that these children were being truly blessed for Christmas!
