Leveraging Logistics and Supply Chain for Jamaica

Hurricane Melissa has left widespread devastation across Jamaica, displacing families and disrupting vital infrastructure. Many of us are asking how we can help.

Join us for a live conversation dedicated to relief efforts for Jamaica. These meetings are designed to connect humanitarian organizations, logistics providers, corporate donors, suppliers, and anyone ready to contribute resources or expertise.

Hear the latest updates from the ground, share your organization’s needs or available resources, collaborate with others in real time, and help ensure that critical supplies reach those who need them most. Let’s unite our skills, networks, and compassion to leverage logistics for Jamaica.

Non-Profits and Organizations We Know and Trust

Here are some of our clients, friends, partners, and peers who are actively working in Jamaica.

  • American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN): ALAN saves lives and reduces suffering for disaster survivors in the United States and internationally by engaging industry to supplement non-profit organizations’ logistics capabilities. They serve by coordinating logistics, providing education, and building cross-sector relationships before, during, and after disasters.
  • Good360: Good360 knows there’s more than enough to go around. That’s why they work to get donated goods where they can do the most good, to close the need gap.
  • Lifting Hands International: The refugees LHI supports come from a wide range of locations and cultures. They have different traditions but share a common experience—having to leave everything behind, flee their homes, and try to start over somewhere else.
  • Inspire GOOD: They are a global non-profit that seeks to see the world changed through everyday individuals. Their vision is to see thriving communities transform the world by catalyzing purpose-driven individuals to act locally and influence globally.
  • MedShare: MedShare partners with hospitals, distributors and manufacturers to collect and redistribute high-quality surplus medical products to qualified healthcare facilities in medically underserved communities around the world.
  • SERV: SERV has used food as a platform to share Christ since 2000. They build relationships with people who live in some of the most extreme conditions on the planet, and they keep going back, providing clean water, shelter, education, protection from human trafficking, and so much more.
  • Stravika: They mpower nonprofits and humanitarian teams with mobile data collection that works everywhere—from remote villages to disaster zones.
  • Vivoblu: They exist to impact the world by providing access to clean, safe water. They pursue this passion because they believe that every human being is designed with dignity and value and that water is a fundamental staple in human flourishing.

There are many more worthy organizations working on this effort. However, there are also people willing to take advantage of this terrible situation. To avoid scams and research your options, visit Charity Navigator or Give Well.
