Responsible Lobbying Policy

Purpose

This policy documents Vector’s position on lobbying activities and political contributions in order to satisfy B Corp certification requirements related to responsible political engagement.

Scope

This policy applies to Vector as an organization and to all employees, officers, and representatives acting on behalf of the company.

Policy Statement

Vector does not engage in lobbying activities, whether direct or indirect, at the local, state, or federal level in any of the countries where we have offices. The company does not employ or retain lobbyists, does not fund third-party lobbying efforts, and does not participate in coalitions or trade associations for the purpose of influencing legislation or regulation.

Vector does not make political contributions of any kind — monetary or in-kind — to political candidates, political parties, political action committees (PACs), Super PACs, ballot measure campaigns, or any other political organizations.

Compliance

Any future decision to engage in lobbying or make political contributions would require approval from Enrique Alvarez, the majority partner, as well as the country partner(s), and would be subject to a formal policy revision prior to any such activity taking place.

Accountability

Responsibility for maintaining and reviewing this policy rests with Enrique Alvarez, Co-Founder and Managing Partner as well as Kristi Porter, Chief Impact Officer.

Review

This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as needed to reflect any changes in company practice or B Corp standards.
